Kinda neat, isn't it? It's like a commune; we all feed each other. Granted, we have our troublemakers as any community does, but the best band together and fight the good fight. I have been coming here for almost 5 months now, and make an attempt to visit at least once a day. It's a nice feeling of belonging.
BTW, that was NOT a stupid question.

First it is not a stupid question. Basically I think we all like to communicate with others. We also like to be validated and this is what transpires each time someone awards 10 points. Finally a lot of people possibly are attracted to the competitive nature of what happens. Enjoy your day...

Being able to share my knowledge is always alot of fun, but even better than that is the fact that I get to give my opinion to anyone who asks a question without having to worry about ever meeting the asker.

My goal is to give the best answer I can and occassionally learn something new. It's sort of fun to try to get to the next level and getting there will be faster if you get the best answer.... it's kind of a fun real life game.

Dear, the only stupid question is the one that is not asked. As far as your admitted spelling problems, I suggest you use the built in spell checker.

First of all, there's no stupid questions, only stupid answers. I like it just because I can go on and offer years of life experience and hopefully help others out.

Because if u can't get an answer to your question from friends, family, books, or television why not have a perfect stranger answer the question.

I like it because my opinion (and research) counts for something. It gives me a chance to be Dear Abby sometimes and a librarian helping research at other times. It appeals to my helping instincts.

Yahoo! Answers is a great way to share your knowledge with others. Stupid question or not. Stupid answer or not.
(Trust me, your question isn't stupid. There are others that are FAR worse!)
