I answered a question on Yahoo Answers and it was chosen as Best Answer by the Asker with 5 stars. The person said my answer was "mystical". I had always castigated myself for being rather shallow and not using the philosophy I learned in school. He made me feel that maybe there was more to me than I gave myself credit for.

I don't know what I would do if it wasn't for you. I became friends with a young girl here from another country to go to collage. She has no family here at all and was very shy but we became friends because she lived not to far from me and would go to the same coffee shop. Well I'm much older then her and she felt safe with me.
AND NO THERE WAS NO SEX INVOLVED I just liked her she became like the daughter I don't have. Well we have been friends now for 6 years. And will always be.

One of the lecturers at my college wrote me a letter of reference, in it, he says that he has never taught anybody (in the 30 years he had been a teacher) with the talent for projects that I had, nor the ability to solve problems and offer intelligent solutions. He has never awarded anybody full marks for an assignment, but I got that more than once. He was a mean old man and I thought he did not like me!! Gooorrrssshhh!

my boyfriend always tells me that I'm one of the smartest people he knows, which means a lot to me because I think he's highly intelligent himself. It means more to me than any other compliment i've ever received about my looks, because looks are only temporary.

One day I was in the mall and a good looking guy approached me. He said he just wanted to tell me that I was the best looking girl he had ever seen and walked off. It came out of no where. I never saw him again. It made my day and I have never forgotten it.

i'm white with blue eyes and blonde hair, and sometimes i feel a little ordinary, but my boyfriend once told me that i'm incredibly exotic, and i still haven't forgotten it.
some friends of my boyfriend also asked if my eye color was real, they couldn't believe how blue they are! they didn't mean it as a compliment, but i certainly took it as one!
