I personally have an HP 1410V all in one and i love it... They also don't cost that much....Mine was only $80.00
and i got it at walmart..... you can;t beat that......
IT's a printer, scaner and copier, and you can also print your pics off of it....

All in one.......Epson CX4800 is great for the price.
Works superbly!
Btw-----Has a card slot for 9 types
HP is ok as is Lexmark BUT their ink is 35+ BUCKS..
MY Epson on the other hand can and does work well with comp carts and they cost me 25 bucks for 2 full sets of ink ...8 carts total.

"PSC" Printer-Scanner-Copier -- I got one at Wal-Mart by Hewlett Packard.
If you're doing photo-editing/scrapbooking make sure it print photo-quality prints on more than just 4x6 photo paper.
Mine doesn't Fax.
I can photocopy without turning on the computer.
Be sure it works with your system, and the connection. ex: Win98 or Mac, and Parallel vs USB

there are called all-in-one-printers, before you buy...please check out the prices of the print cartridges first...some time you will find one for 49.dollars, but find out later on that the print replacement cartridges cost 80 dollars...so choose smartly...I got an Epson and I like it, I buy my ink at www.tiderdirect.com for 10 dollars a cartridge

Lexmark All-in-One, Series X1100 is what I use, and it's a good one, I got it on sale at Wal-Mart for 50 Bucks, and I love it.

I have a epson stylus cx4800 that is a all in one it does an awesome job
