Find a large field, stand in the middle of it,flap your arms really fast & you'll be there in no time.
Another way that I've used several times get up into the wheel bays of a plane but make sure u have warm clothes on (it get cold),u might not get to the country u wanted but hey, it was free !!

from New York, I doubt if you will find anything under $1000. From Vancouver, Canada, cheaper flights usually have a flight from here to Osaka Japan, one overnight, and then on to Manila. Last time was with Air Canada and Thai Airways....that was a real difference...loved the cute Thai flight attendants and the service was great....Cathay Pacific has always been a pricey airline...Japan Airlines is often the cheapest also. Philippines Ailines are great, but slow...and have direct flights from Vancouver....my rate last time was $1050 CDN in 2003.

i have a friend who lives in NY. this is her trick. you know that you can get some value flights to some destinations around souteast asia, from there, get value flights to Manila...whoolla! price she paid? $750.00 during peak season...clever isn't she.

I did it once from London-Gatwick to Manila...i saved 40%. had a two nights rest in Singapore too.

try it if u're not fussy with terminals. (in Singapore they have an "alternative airport terminal" for value flights.

bon voyage...

Try a cargo ship..Fare is less than $500. If you wanna be here by Oct 1, try sailing tomorrow. It would take you around 1 month by sea.
