I had the same dilemma. Start with asking your parents. Explain to them that you have the right to know your birth parents history. Health concerns later in life will bring questions that you will need to have an answer to. Trust me they know something.

Next register with adoptive reunion sites. They may be looking for you as you are looking for them.

In Colorado you can go to court and ask that the records be unsealed, maybe you can do the same.

Go to the library and look at the archives for the date you were born, and the days following. There may be a birth announcement.

Start with your birth certificate and the state you were born in check out the adoption centers in your area, but remeber the records are closed for a reason. Good Luck

find out where you were adopted from, they should keep records like that around. If you can find out your last name try finding out where your parents came from and look for the last names. There are a few ways to work it you just have to work it right. Good luck man

Hack into the adoption agency computer or go digging through the files they have in the back room where your other parents adopted you....Honestly I don't know. But best of luck in your search.
