While your looking for a job and are asking her for money any amount is acceptable in your case. What ever she is willing to part with. Just make sure you help her out with some of the stuff she needs done as well so you sort of "Work off your debt" so you don't have to pay it back.. but being in your position asking for a certing % would be just plain wrong! Take what you can get!

I would keep her whole check then give her money as she needs it-but only for essentials like gas and bus fare to get her back and forth from work. When she asks for money always make sure to find out what she wants it for and only give her exactly the amount she needs if you deem it a worthy cause.

It depends on if you washed the floor, scrubbed the toilets, did the laundry and ironing and bought and had supper ready for her when she got home. If you did that, I'd probably give you a $50 a week allowance.

If you have a mental or physical dissability and are unable to work check into receiving social security dissability.
as far as your question goes, i don't think you have any say over how much of her money you get to spend. as it is her money, she should make the choices concerning it, unless you are providing household services then you should work out a monetary wage agreement before hand.

I'm going to say you never touch it to begin with, so "keep" would be an incorrect term to use. Then, I'd say only what she is nice enough to buy for you. Then she can also take it all back when you breakup.

What are you thinking, When two people stay together everything should be split 50/50... Nothing is free these days, if she works you should work as well.
