I have to say that the first book and movie are my favorites because it would be so cool to find out your a wizard after such a sucky life with your aunt and uncle and fat cousin.

Book 1 - I simply couldn't put the book down when I first read it, and it started my craze for the series. Plus got to learn all about the magical world.
Book 3 - Exciting! Plus Harry found out more about James Potter and his friends.
Book 6 - Finally got some answers. Unfortunately Dumbledore had to go...
The movies didn't really leave any strong impression on me... probably cos I read the books first, and my imagination of Harry & Hogwarts are totally different from the movies.

Will I didn't buy the books & I won't buy it tell I see all off them in teh cinema .
So my favourite tell know is the last one Harry potter & the Goblet of fire.

Hard question to answer. I'm a 32 year old male, and STILL love to read them. I probably liked Half-Blood Prince best, but Order of the Phoenix was pretty darn good, too.

Movie: bleh! but if i have to choose, #3. only because the story for that one is really good
