create disorders? Why can't we all just live our lives? I had a pretty crapy childhood and I turned out just fine. An ex-friend of mine didn't have a great childhood either. So she went to a quack. Got some pills to "cure" her, i guess. What a waste of money and she isn't even better. She says she has four disorders. Don't remember all of the names. And she blames everything on everything else. Life isn't always great. I wish people would stop making excuses and just find their ways to be happy. What do you think?

Things are easy to say. You are a strong woman with a great strengh but not all people are like you.
I got an awful childhood and it made me become depressed but I fixed it with therapy, medication, working out and specially thanks to God.
All people are different, your friend got a different background than yours, she got different way of being.
Sometimes it is organic. In my case was organic and it was psychological.
I did not make excuses to not be happy and my ways to get happiness were fixing my psychological problems and work on my self loving.
Don't be too harsh on people who are not strong as you are. I admire you but I needed extra help. My way to get happiness was different from yours.

Well sometimes the problems are real but most of the time it is giving them a name to make money off of them. I agree about how it is a sad thing. As to the "help" not teaching them to make their life better that at least makes sense. After all you don't want to give them the tools that will really help them, because then you would be out of a job.

i am so sorry for both of you. the rest of us had perfect little childhoods were everything went just the way we wanted. and now we are all messed up and blame others also.
life is what you make it.
i also make wishes.
i avoid thinking it causes stress.

the book freaknomics has great hints about this. One brazilian eye may put this way: life is so strange: beautiful and scaring. There is fear, and hungry, and hate, and bush. People just can´t feel confortable within so many impairs sensation.
