did anyone else just see the Angels get screwed by the 3rd Base ump?? now usually i would just talk to my friends about it but none of them know anything about baseball, if you and an Angel fan who agrees with me or a Yankee fan who believes that they should only win if its fair please respond.
Please no Yankee fans who believe it was the right call, the instant replay showed it wasnt.
Dang im pissed!!!

well they lost, final score 11-8 Yankees, now many may say that even though they got screwed it wouldnt have affected it well, it would have. If they handnt gotten screwed they would have had bases loaded with no out, and probably would have scored and caught up and won. So yea, its all the ump's fault

Yeah, I agree it was a bad call.
Can't feel bad for the Angels though, sorry.
I'm a Yankee fan and they always beat the pants off us in Anaheim.

You think the Angels got screwed?? That was the right call, Napoli was WAY out of the baseline, it wasn't even close. You are complaining that the Angels got screwed? Did you see Kennedy not even CATCH THE BALL at second, and they called the Yankee runner out?? Don't say he was in the process of taking it out of his glove, because he was not, he dropped Aybar's toss to him!! Do you think that was a good call?? The YANKEES got
screwed there. Also did you see Cano and Wilson get called out on strikes on pitches around their ankles in the second inning, when Saunders was walking everyone else? Give it a break, you won two out of three, the Angels give the Yankees a hard time, you can't win them all. Now you can sit back and watch the Yanks on tv in October, because the Angels are average against everybody else.

It's a descretionary call, so replays are useless in determining how the umpire judged it. Besides, that was a base running error, you should be upset with your player. Also, the 2nd base umpire blew the call on the pivot at 2nd base that was dropped by your guy. That is the ONLY play that replay showed a mistake. So quit your CRYING!

you cant really blame the game on the ump i mean yeah instant replay shows it was the wrong call but you gotta look from his perspective and he had to make the call instantly. we and the announcers have the ability to see instant replay so we can ***** all we want but in the end its the umpires call. it really doesnt matter anyway angels wont catch the Athletics

Yankees in 7 because of the fact of abode field benefit and the bullpen. How even is this sequence? If Anaheim had abode field particularly of ny, i might have picked the Angels in 7.

Wow. That was a bad call, but the score is too the point where I don't think the outcome will change because of it. Terrible ump though.

Umpires are only human... they will make errors in their calls. I have watched many replays of very close calls and the umpire is usually correct in his call.
Keep in mind they have to make their call in a split second and don't have the luxury of seeing replays.
I give umpires A LOT of credit
