A juckyard may have the components you need for the conversion. Finding the running gear for the year of your truck should be relatively easy.

In most instances, the frames are the same for all trucks of that year and make, and the components should bolt right up.

I did it a few years back with a Dodge.

REMOVE FRONT AXLE,SUSPENSION, STEERING. FIND A DANA 60 FRONT AXLE WITH FORD SPRING PERCHES. BUY A SET OF FRONT SPRINGS,SHACKLES, STEERING COMPONENTS,SHOCKS AND MOUNTING PILLARS. BOLT ALL TOGETHER AND PUT UNDER TRUCK. THEN REMOVE TRANS GET 4X4 TRANS AND TRANSFER CASE REMOVE CARPET, PUNCH OUT 4X4 HLOE IN FLOOR INSTALLL BOOT , REINSTALL CARPET, TRANNY CROSS MEMBER ECT. THEN FIND DRIVESHAFTS THEN DOUBLE CHECK AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS TIGHT. SINPLE PROJECT IF YOUR SMART. OR DO LIKE MOST PEOPLE DO AND BUY A TRUCK THAT ALREADY HAS 4 WHEEL.
