Well, what are you taking the log of?
Say you want to know log (base 7) of 12.
You have to do a change of base because your calculator only has base e (which is the natural log (ln)) and base 10 (which is the common log (log)).
Punch in
ln(12)/ln(7) = 1.27698940827
You could also use
log(12)/log(7) and you would get the same answer.
I just prefer ln for some reason.

y = log (base 7) x = log x / log 7

the calculator can't calculate the log in a base other than 10

but use the mathematical formula,

log (base a) b = log b / log a

like

log (base 2) 8 = log 8 / log 2 = 3

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/avLQC

the same way you put in any equation there's a button that has "x,t,Ø,n" when you press that, it'll give you the X you need look further down and to the left and you'll see "x^2" key everything else shouldn't be a problem

Write this like

These are good answers, but overcomplicated. Simply press "math" and scroll down to option A which will say "logBASE(".
