That's a toughie. My favorite elementary school teacher was my 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Collins. She was creative, a good listener, strict but gentle, and she never made fun of you because you said something silly that you didn't know sounded silly (you know kids say the darnedest things and all). She was a wonderful woman.
My favorite high school teacher was my 10th grade English teacher, Mrs. Ballard. She was a bit persnickety but she had a wonderful, dry sense of humor and she really taught me a lot about the world. She always encouraged and applauded my creativity. She told me that my ideals and opinions would change eventually but I didn't believe her at the time. Well, I'm all grown up now and have changed in so many ways. I wish I knew where she was so I could contact her and thank her for teaching me so many valuable things.

My favorite teacher was my grade 12 typing teacher. She realized that I did not have the ability to coordinate my fingers to type fast, especially when I was "stressed" by a test. So, instead of testing for speed she focused on what I was good at, "accuracy".
She taught me how to format letters, memos, margins for reports, all sorts of different things that I would need in business. She told me that by the time I was in my older career years the typewriter would be obsolete and the computer keyboard would be what I would use.
She said speed would come eventually but the accuracy and knowledge of doing a job well was worth her time spent one on one with me.
I was thankful for the time she gave me, recognizing that I had skills that I could use and helping me polish those instead of trying to force something that would come in time.

My favorite was a high school English/creative writing teacher. Why? Because he always expected a lot from everyone and recognized achievements once we had risen! He had been in the army and was older; he demanded respect and responsibility from everyone...and he got it!
I'm a teacher too, and I think all students yearn for high expectations and sincerity!

My favorite teacher was...my fifth grade teacher.
I actually had two...one for language arts..and one for math and the rest..
I really liked my language arts teacher.I think you spell her name...Mrs. Schleicher...or something like that....She was really fun..and..she taught really well..She was really funny and caring...She wasn't crazy...well..sometimes...and she also knew when to stop the fun and when things go to far..she knew how to punish fairly and with justice..hehehehe..she was the best teacher I ever had.but then again..I was teacher's pet..so other people might have different opinions...lol
my worst was my sixth grade teacher...Mr Price....all he did was drink coke all day...he made me stupid...that tub of lard... :(
that's really creepy because my mascot then was Seahawks.

My fifth grade teacher. I was her pet, but she realized that I loved
reading and encouraged me, and even when I was in high school
she kept an interest and always cheered me on. She died not long after I graduated, but I treasure her memory...You see, I didn't get encouragement at home and she knew that.
