It is because of the time of year and religion. Fall...harvest color...orange. Halloween was originally called, "All Hallow's Eve" after the Catholic vigil of "All Saints' Day" and "All Souls' Day" (Nov 1, 2). Black is for repentence.

Orange and black are the colors of Halloween because orange is associated with the fall harvest and black is the color of darkness.

Black is for Satanic stuff and orange for pumpkins but nowadays its just fun for the kids.
also because the rival school when I was younger had those colors...ugh

because hallowen is day of the dead and people say that the day is bad luck and BLACK cats are bad luck if they cross your path and for ORANGE people think that pumpkin pie if featy i geuss 4 halloween and pumpkins are ORANGE
