It Seems Like Every time We Busy Ourselves With Something, they Tend To Feel Neglected...Like A Child.
Mine Does The Same Thing..I Could Be Doing Nothing, But The Minute I Busy Myself With Something..There He Is..LOL!!
I Can Only Attribute This Too The Child In Them Craving Our Attention. Not Much We Can Do About It.
In Every Man I Believe Is A Little Child That Needs To Know They Are The Center Of Our Attention.
Kind Of Cute, But Annoying Sometimes. Just Be Happy Your The One He Seeks Attention From.
Good-Luck Getting Your Reading Done...LOL!!

When was the last time you took him upstairs instead of the book? The number 1 and 2 reasons for bedrooms are not reading.

As I try to answer this question my husband 32 and two kids girl - 9 and boy - 4 are all asking me different questions. This drives me crazy, but if I sat (which i have done) and did nothing at all , no TV, no computer etc. then they would want nothing to do with me. They only miss you when your trying to take time with yourself. I have yelled at my kids 3 times while trying to finish this answer. I told my husband I truly feel if I were to die tomorrow I think all three of them would crawl in a corner and die. Good luck.

it sounds like he is really annoyed by that. My husband would do that as soon as I started doing the dishes or clean the house. It freaks him out. He thinks I should give attention to him than doing any chores in the house. SO we hired a maid. and we are better now. He probably needs more sex. Try to read after having sex with him. See his reaction.

I cant stand for my hubby to read. Because he waits until I am present in the room and he reads ALOUD. But barely audible to the point I get a word every now and then. It drives me simply insane.

Ummm, yeah, my husband does this too. Whenever I'm busy doing something in the house...especially when I'm reading the Q&A here in yahoo. Go figure.

Sometimes, he thinks I'm not busy, so then he thinks it's free time and that he has a right to it. I just tell him to stop and I'm relaxing with some quiet time. He usually pulls his head out of his @$$ and realizes that I have a perogotive too.

Yes that would drive me batty and I wouldn't be good at tolerating it. Try doing the same thing to him whenever he is doing something he likes. Mine does it too
