Check it out: Moitup2u.....she asked a question. The title is rude to begin with. Then scroll down to my answer...I admit, it's rude at first. But actually look at my answer....I've had experience with at least 3 family members doing what she wants to do.

Now look at this e-mail:
From: Moitup2u
Subject: There is a reason
Message: I asked a very serious life question about artificial insemination that a 15 year old is not prepared to answer. They do not have the relationship experience and though I am sure you have a valuable opinion, I do not want it. I actually was shooting for people that have actually lived at least 25 years. Dont be so rude..it was not intended to offend, It is a serious problem and I was seeking a mature answer.

Now, like I said before........I know exactly what she's going through, even more pain too. I have alot more experience at this whole thing?

You might have experience seeing people go through it, but you personally do not know what it is like to want to have a child with someone and not be able to. I think what the questioner was going for were adults who were able to understand a little better the dynamic of what she was going through and give some insight.
I can understand why the questioner wouldn't be keen on hearing a teenager's answer. If I was seeking information or advice on pregnancy or the inability to have a child and options, I wouldn't be looking to ask a teen. It's nothing offensive to you, but it's just the fact that there is no way you have been in the situation that this person is in.

I agree with your comment of answering any question you want to. It may have sounded rude, but true. I feel the same way no one is going to stop me from answering a question. It has nothing to do with being offended.
I read your answer. I thought it was very good advice. It didn't even sound like a teenager answering the question. It was a mature answer and you did have experience on this subject because family members had went through this situation.
The only way she would have known your age is going into your profile. And I call that rude.

I don't think it's intended to be rude so don't take it personally. The first answer is an example of what she didn't want, and she just felt that a teenager would be too immature to answer such a serious question. She might not have wanted a 12 year old to ask their parents what the question meant.

I don't think Moitup2u was being rude. She appears to be asking a very good question that she felt important enough to pursue. By stating no one under 23 clearly indicates that she was looking for serious replies only...cut her some slack and don't take it personally.

Having said that, I'm not sure YA is the forum for her question, especially dealing with something as important as this, but, to each is their own

Most of us old-timers (25+) sort of handle stuff like this in private, like replying to the mailer and sorting it out, or just deleting the mail & go on with our lives. Free speech means she's as entitled to her view as you are to yours.

Frankly, I don't want to see stuff like this on Yahoo Answers. Will turn the site into a Forum-type battlefield. People who are too easily offended shouldn't play this game.

NO, its not rude! Teens might not fully understand the concept of aretificial insemination as adults. You are an execption. How is she supposed to snowyour family history. Chillax. I not like you ever have to talk to her again!

I'm sorry, I think the questioner has the right to ask (and she did say "please") that only a certain group of people answer her/his question.
And I do think your beginning was rude

"Don't tell people who can and cannot answer...I'll answer however and whoever I want to."

defensive and unjustified.
