Given the news coverage and things said and done after Katrina...
Would you be more or less inclined to assist the rebuilding of the city? Please explain.

I would be less inclined to give any more money to New Orleans. The people of New Orleans did not take responsibility for themselves and then tried to blame everyone else for their problems. The hurricane and the levees breaking were terrible but the people who died shouldn't have died they died because they stayed in the city even though there was a mandatory evacuation. Their beloved mayor did not even follow his own evacuation plan. If these people cannot help themselves why should I help them.

I live here and I was here for Katrina. Luckily I was very safe where I was. As far as rebuilding, there is still alot to do. Another Hurricane wouldn't affect things too much. The hurricane itself did damage, yes. But the levees breaking made it an absolute disaster. The probability of it happening again this soon is nil. When you look back in History, New Orleans get a big Hurricane every 40 years. I'm not that worried personally.

There is not anway they could stand another Hurricane of the Magnitude of Katrina. If another one hit like the last one it will be all over. What happens to the residents would be disaster. There is so much money in the treasury, and I would not rebuild the city knowing it will be only time before the next one.

I think I would love to help out if another hurricane hit New Orleans because those people have been through so much. Some families have lost loved ones and others have been seperated from thier familes. Those people are probably panicking righ tnow hoping this hurricane does hit, while getting thier loved ones out so no one is hurt.

Yes, I would, even though it would be pointless. The predictions are that eventually the river and the sea will take over that area anyway. Even though it makes no sense, I would help, because I wouldn't be able to stand by and watch so many people in distress without trying to help.

what did they do be for news and warnings. they rebuilt. yes i would help, in a heart beat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
