my name is sommer dawn, and i was wondering if Samara Dawn sounded ugly. if im having a girl im planning on naming her either samara or saige. and if it is a boy i want to name him Cordell brian, after my father who passed away when i was twelve what do you think?

I like them both, and I think it is so honoring of a child to name a baby after his grandfather. Good for you. I'd give you points if I could. And I'm sorry you lost your dad when you were so young.

Samara reminds me of that freaky little girl on The Ring. I think Saige is a really nice name and i don't think it would be a bad thing if you named your daughter sommer as a middle name and dropped the dawn or changed sommer into sommerset. I really like your little boy name, so good job.

I think the name Samara is pretty but Saige is more coll and if it's a boy Cordell is kinda weird i like Brian better.

Samara reminds me of the girl in The Ring(sorry!) But I think Saige is a pretty name. And the boy name you have picked out is cute, even better that it's honoring your father. Congratulations on the upcoming baby!
I think Saige Autumn would be nice. Your name being Sommer(summer) and your daughters' being Autumn would be cute, lol.

samara dawn is a very pretty name...if you go with saige...it could be saige cheyenne...that's a very pretty name..or aspen saige..i think that is nice too! cordell brian is an amazing name; however, you could name him brian cordell..sounds more nsync...i believe that you should look at your child and see what name he/she looks like they are fit for...

I like Samara. And I've never seen "The Ring" which everyone else is referring to as a reason not to go with Samara...but you could always alter is slightly to Samaria.

Well you certainly don't want to name her Summer's Eve! ; ) Just joking. I like the name Wynter Rochelle, and it kind of goes along with your name (seasons).
