Everything that's happening right now while i'm typing this answer is already history in construction. Plus, if we forget about history, how could we possibly understand where we are standing? There's no way we can separate present from history...

An incident of the past it's a historical fact. History it's what is written by a historian and it's the line of historical facts that took place and have something in common. For example, in the history of France, are mentioned all the historical events that took place and are related or have an effect on France.

Also history is the analysis of the historical facts by a historian.

A thing of the past is not always part of history.

Yes, but it can't be fully packed away into the past. We have to refer to it or all the bad things will happen all over again.
