Subjective means to be subject to personal tastes. Do you like Bach? That is subjective, some people like it, some not.
Objective means everyone will agree on it, it is measurable, and can be confirmed or proved wrong. How heavy is one cubic centimeter of water at 4 C? 1 gram.
Now, you can understand why science needs to be as objective as possible. Without objectivity, all you do is debate about personal appreciations.
Objective science are called exact science. Humanities are usually subjective: psychology, sociology, etc. That is why there will be so much more arguing in humanities than in physics and chemistry.

Objective science is when you accept any result of your tests or studies without preconception.
If you for instance make an experiment involving a number of readings from an instrument, you plot your readings on a paper and you expect your results to fit nicely into a curve, but you see that some of the readings doesn't fit in with what you expected.
The objective truth is that you got the readings that you have and that they don't fit the curve. If you are subjective, you will remove all the readings that doesn't fit and you will have "proved" what you wanted to.
In science you will have to do something in between. An experiment will never yield a 100% perfect result. So you will have to say what is good enough to be proof of something.

By "subjective and objective science" do you mean "subjective science and objective science"?
To me, "subjective science" is an oxymoron. There's no such thing.
If something is *purely* subjective, it isn't science. That is, if the data can't be verified by more than one person, it isn't possible to deal with as science. In experimental psychology, this is why the data are not "feelings" or "thoughts", but reaction times, ratings, and physiological responses.
But your teacher may be using terminology differently than I mean it. Words are tricky things.

Objective science is science that adheres to the scientific method, is not affected by bias, and is reproducible. Subjective science is basically the opposite.

Hi. Subjective is when you think you are ( fill in the blank ). Objective is when you think someone else is ( fill in the blank ). It has to do with your ability to stand back and look at things from a neutral point of view.
