Honestly, sometimes i think it is a waste. But, that'd be very hypocritical of me because i text alot too. :) It's handy when you're at work or school and just can't make a phone call or just need to tell someone a one word answer

once you certainly love them . It makes me sense kinda awkward sending it to every person else . yet I do say '' i admire you '' to my kinfolk and my close acquaintances . BQ : No . to me it potential a funky friendly hug . BQ2 : i think of its a larger hug . BQ3: who's down there ?! hi ??? P.S : some human beings upload xxx while ending a sentence and the form of xs shows the cost and the firmness of the factor . I had a German chum who used to try this all of the time . she might positioned x's on the top of each paragraph . she used to try this..

No, its not. Its a lot more convenient than having to call someone, and it allows yourself and others to answer when they are ready to.

Other bonuses are if you are getting directions. You don't need to write them down, you can just reference the message.

some places its virtuallly the only use for a mobile phone ... its cheaper than calling ... when i was in the philippines almost everyone communicates by text message .... at least where i was.

no i luv txt msging u can hang up wit someone without saying bye or anything....just stop answering your phone....

AND....

TXT MSGING has been known to work in storms when the circuits are messed up and you can't call on a phone to get in touch with somebody....true story....victims of Katrina used it while they were stuck in New Orleans....and I saw somethin about it on the Weather Channel once...

no, they can be very helpful. just don't reply when driving. i agree with the answer below in reference to keeping a message for driving directions.

Depends on what you are trying to communicate. It is certainly not appropriate for all occasions. Sometimes you should just call.
