I just turned thirteen, and i started my period when i was eleven years old. They use to be regular but lately they have been, like a week off each time or more. And i just recently started having headaches with my periods, which i have not had before. I'm still a virgin if that helps and i havent done anything bad with a boy. Should i go to my regular doctor (she's a pediatrician). Did anyone have this problem when they were younger? and do you have any advise

Talk to your mom about it and then go to your doctor. Your cycles just might be changing and your symptoms might be getting worse since you are getting older. I don't think you have anything to worry about, but there is nothing wrong with going to the doctor to see if anything can be done about your headaches and undesirable symptoms.

Hey sweetie, it sounds normal. Many girls don't often become regular until later in life. However, if you feel that something could be wrong, discuss it with your folks, or even try a school nurse. I had problems when I was a teenager. I was never regular. I found out that I had a problem with my thyroid that was causing me to function that way. If it persists, definitely get it checked out. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Sometimes your cycle changes. If it will make make you more comfortable talk to your doctor and/or your mom. Your regular doctor is fine. If there is a problem she can refer you to the right doctor. Just remember there might not be anything wrong. but it never hurts to have it checked out.

you have nothing to worry about. for a few yrs after u get ur first period, they will be irregular. you'll also get discomfort when u have ur period, it's just different for different women. but if the headaches come to a point where you can't stand em or they hurt very bad, then i'd advise you to go to the doctore.

If you don't feel comfortable talking to your mom, or you can't talk to your mom, go to your regular doctor. You get to keep her until you are 18.
