Okay, that's not all he said. I would agree, calling where the Twin Towers once stood a hole in the ground was not the best label. However he was making a comparison in response to a question about how long it's taking to rebuild Louisiana. The point is, it's a hard and long process to rebuild after a disaster, be it natural or terrorist.

If you work in downtown New York, you will see that he is absolutely right. The politicians in New York should be ashamed of themselves. The "hole in the ground" represents a perfect example of how government can screw things up and get in the way of progress and free markets. Larry Silverstein has already completed #7 WTC (even after long govt. delays) and now has tenants looking over a huge pit.
What a shame. How many more ways can NY politicians think of screwing this whole thing up? It's anybody's guess at this point.

He was just making a point that the government hasn't gotten any farther in New York and they had 5 years to do it. Why should they expect him to do better in a year, when he can't even get the money that was promised or collected? I'm sure it would help if they would only hire people from New Oleans instead of illegals.

Texas Heaven you have given me (us) a short glimpse what must be any-ones existence. To me, it relatively is the metaphorical premise of the poem, no longer the questions according to se (cept final one), however your purpose must be to lead us to the final stanza >>>>sure, sure, sure ...and finally the final of it. I knew this develop into foremost some the place and your close, a single sentence >> "Did ya cuss God _______ that's quite introspective piece to assert the least, and one that i'm grateful of His grace, even with the shown fact that my answer is regrettably: sure _______________________________________...
