Over the counter products just do not work. Microdermabrasion
is the only thing that will help with the scarring. You could try chemical peels. They sometimes lessen the appearance of acne scars. If you try the peels, make sure they are done by a dermatologist. For the price you pay trying OTC products, you could get an appnt with a dermatolagist who will tell you just what will and won't work.

Don't fall for all of the products that claim to reduce scarring... The main ingredient is usually salicylic acid, an ingredient commonly used in acne creams, except you'll pay double. Microdermabrasion definitely works wonders. If that's not an option, exfoliation once a week will lighten scars over time, though it may take a while. It's certainly less expensive.

im using Differin and it is working amazingly well....the acne marks i used to have from when I first started getting acne are dissappering. If that doesnt work try Acne Fade....i think thats the name of it....they sell it at WalMart for like 15 bucks. My friend swears by it.
