whats the average age to start & when should you be conerned to ask a doctor about it?

12 is the average age in US, but wouldn't be concerned up to about 15. Ask the doctor about it at the next regular visit...

On average females start their period around the ages of 13 or 14. However some girls start later then average while some other girls start before. I started mine at the age of 9 while my best friend didn't start hers until she was 16. I wouldn't be concerned with it starting because every ones body is different. Your doctor will tell you this. Although you may want to ask your doctor if you have problems like stomach cramps etc...

It's really different for each girl, but 11-16 is the average. If you haven't had one by age 16, consult a doctor.

average age is about 15 but some people don't have periods until 20 years old. but just to be sure, you might wanna check with the doctor after you're like 16 or something

Puberty generally starts earlier for a girl, some time between 8 and 13 years of age. For most girls, the first evidence of puberty is breast development, but it may be the growth of pubic hair in some areas. I think the age that you should be concernded about your period is 16-17

I think the average age is about 12. You'll need to go to the doctor after that anyway for an annual pap smear.

The average is 12 1/2 years old. but anywhere from 11-14 is normal. so if your 14 and havent gotten it, you def. should see a doctor.
