My provider is Movida-- is it possible to check voicemail without using my cell and using my minutes?

I'm not sure if it's the same as US Cellular but you call the number from a land line and when the voice mail picks up you press either * or # and then it'll prompt you to enter you passcode.


But a little known piece of information for you....most people don't know that you still get charged for a minute when someone calls you, even if you don't answer. So when you call your number from a land line and check your voice mail, you're still charged for a minute. Unless you have free incoming calls, then you don't have to worry about it.

Of course! Just dial your cell number, when your voicemail comes on hit the * (pound key) Then it will ask for your code to get to your voicemail.
Or that's how mine is done.

call ur cell and dont answer the cell.. type ur code
