I left my country, beautiful Spain almost 5 years ago. Sometimes the homesick feeling is unbearable, but most of the time I'm happy, because I've create a new home here, in Dublin, my second home. I've got married, I have kids and friends and my mom is just 2 hours of plane away! Anyway I still miss the sun, the beach and the food! But,well, for that exists the holidays!

Yes!! I married a New Orleans man and live here. My family is in Canada. (Edmonton) I get homesick and I miss alot of things. I can't legally work yet. I don't know how long the immigration thing will take, I rely on my husband for everything and it is hard. I gave up everything in Canada. I don't have a car, a cellphone, etc. I don't work full time anymore and all the things I am used to doing for myself, I can't anymore. I love New Orleans, but I feel so lost. I go back home on Friday for 2 weeks, I am excited. Part of me wants to stay for a while, get work and get some money saved again. I'm just confused right now, me and my husband have been fighting alot and it makes it harder for me.

I left home, California, USA, 20 years ago.
I have been in Livingston, Montana for over 13 years.
I still call California home, long for the day when I can go back to live there.
But for now, my grandchildren are young and I want to be part of their young lives.
Knowing my family is more important to me than living at home right now.

I now live the US, but I am originally from England. I definitely have days where I just want to go home. I hope in the future to live 6 months in US and 6 months in England.

No, my home is where I am, and as my friends and family are scattered all over Europe I can't feel homesick without feeling extremely confused.
