Febreeze is great! Everytime I visit my brothers I have to go home and spray myself with febreeze or change clothes and get washed up again! My sister works with them and she has to use it all day. We even spray our hair to keep the smell away! I used febreeze when I burned part of my kitchen and the inspector said he couldn't believe there had been a fire because there was no burn smell and that was a first for him. I just didn't want to smell it for several days until he could get there to inspect! I hope your friends get smart and quit!

This is a horrible thing to happen. And it's not just your clothes; it's your hair, too. The thing we do to stinky clothes is hang it outside on a clothesline first then wash it with liquid laundry detergent. Use whatever fabric softener you like. Nothing short of washing will help. The stench is even in you pores, so be sure to take a good long shower or bath.

Use a good detergent like Tide, Cheer or Era to wash your clothes and use Downy April Fresh fabric softener.
Borax http://www.dialcorp.com/index.cfm?page_id=56 removes odors as well...add a scoop or 2 to your wash. Febreeze is also a good for this stench removal.

Try washing it and then putting some Febreeze on it! Works for me every time I go to a smokey restaurant or club.

fabreeze, or all fabric spray....is wonderful. i have a friend that smokes in her house. everytime i leave there, i can smell smoke on my clothes, in my hair, everywhere. it totally grosses me out. i leave the fabreeze in my car, and spray it right away, so i dont smell that sickening smell all the way home.

Downy's a great product, Tide is too. Try those, then get the fabreeze for clothing. Perhaps perfume too

Clothesline and a few days worth of sunshine and light breeze should do the trick.
