Do you have good or bad opinions? Im thinking of buying one, I looked at one today, it seemed ok. What do you think of this for a first bike?

Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. A couple of years can make a difference. The 600 Eliminator is a good bike. Never seen any motor problems. Nice power. It's not the best bike in the handing department for it's class. But it's a great first bike. Have fun!

I had one as my first bike. It was a 96. I think it was only made 96-98. Is that the one you're looking at?

Honestly, I don't have a lot of good to say about it......but I'll tell you what I remember.

It was a hard starter, even in good weather. There are NO aftermarket accessories for it - at least there weren't when I had it.

Actually, that's it! I don't remember it fondly, but that's just because I got a Magna later which I really loved so much more.

I think it's a good starter bike, because it is fairly light, and it's got a low seat height - 28". You will DEFINITELY want a windscreen for it. I didn't have one and was miserable.

Although it's only a 600, it is a V4, so it's fairly peppy too.

same engine as a ninja , looks good, be careful, it doesn't handle as good as a ninja . would not be my choice as a 1st bike
