i wanted to set a song as a deskop background, like when you turn on the computer and there was some kind of music going on.

Settings/Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices/sounds

look for "start windows"

make sure its a wav file

You can not set a sound as a background. A background has to be a picture. You can however set it as a "start up sound".

Go to control panel, click on sounds and device, click on the sounds tab and scroll through the listing for "Start Windows". You can pick a wav file for Windows play on start up.

Note that it will play through the file only once. It will also greatly slow your PC while it is playing, so you want to keep the song short (30 seconds top) or you will be waiting all day for the PC to load.

Hi, when I am playing my music each CD has it's own backgrounds to choose from and also you can hit the maximize button and then the whole screen will be a design playing to the beat of your music.

u cant set a song, but u can set a backround that has a clip form the video that u like. just go to google and search the image and then right click and set as backround

go to control panel sounds windows start up music set it to your preffered song

do u think it will be irritating to have a background music everytime u turn on ur pc.
