I agree with you 100%.. something MUST be done. Sexual predators are around every corner and it's scary to think that you or your child could be at risk from a lurking predator anywhere from school to the playground even in your own home (on-line pedophiles) These bast ards need to be locked up for life.. or killed I'm not joking.. they do NOT under any circumstances deserve to be released or a "second chance" after what they have done to multiple or even one helpless innocent children and the lives they have ruined forever. No matter how bad theysay they feel or how sorry they may be no amount of good behavior could ever take back the damage that has been done..and these sick freaks knew what they were doing while they were doing it... air shouldn't be wasted on sick freaks such as these people..

the government is not doing enough with this situation. they are too worried about other stuff to take care of their own country. one of the problems is, anymore, no matter what you do, your put on probation. a good source of revenue for the system. alot of the probation is supervised, so the agents are overloaded with clients. they cannot monitor everyone, so the predators can slip thru the system pretty easily. money is the issue, not justice or protection. there are alot of people in jail that really dont need to be there. our judicial system is so corrupt that i dont think its changeable. i wonder if any of the judges and lawmakers ever feel guilty when a sex offender is let out and then repeats. they should because its their fault, they are not doing their job. if anyone else does a lousy job they are fired. the judicial system and the rest of our government needs an enima.

It's this thing called the law.
If you continue to incarcerate a child predator, then it violates their civil rights.
I am the mother of a year old daughter, and I don't condone anything that a predator does to a child. But it is a very slippery slope if we start keeping child predators locked away forever. Because then the argument of rapists are dangerous to women, murderers are dangerous to humans, robbers are dangerous to banks, and so on. Everyone has a danger out there. I know it is easy to try and "protect" the children of the world, but the trade off would be great. Is that a trade off you are willing to make? I don't know if I am willing to do that.
I do think there needs to be stiffer penalties for child predators, and that they should have to have some sort of monitoring device that allows the police to know their wherabouts 24/7.

You are right - there are a lot of sexual predators out there. They are released because they have.... committed the crime and did the time. Our laws don't allow us to keep someone in jail forever for mos6t sex crimes. Repeat offenders can get a tougher sentence in prison. Unfortunately, there are many sexual predators out there that have never been caught. It could be a family member, neighbor, co-worker or close friend. You need to always be alert - expect the unexpected.

First of all child rapes and kidnappings are one of the most rare crimes that occur in our society. You should know that so you can stop worrying so much.
Secondly, the sentences for crimes involving sexual abuse and kidnapping of children are very high compared to other crimes involving the same level of violence, etc...
You should stop reacting to what you hear on TV and do actual research on these things, then you would know that the governemnt is already doing a good job catching and punishing child abductors and rapists and keeping them locked up for a very long time, and you could focus your thoughts and energies on problems that are not getting solved.

I agree and yes it does need to stop but when they are found guilty in a court of law they are sentanceed to an alottment of time being spent in jail for the crime the law can only do so much within itself think about repeat murderers they get let out and do it again too these are the savage beasts of society but the law can only do what the law will do and what else could you do send em all to an island far far away nah that s not gonna happen in America

You can hate Cuba if you want, but child abuse or molestation is considered one of the most serious offences and carries a 15-25 year sentence. As Castro put it, all the money in Cuba is not worth the innocence of one Cuban girl or boy. They do not have the death penalty .
I know US prisons are overcrowded so they should lighten up on their "Pot laws" . House arrests, community service or fines are more than enough.

Heres the problem the law is what it is. If a criminal is sentenced to 6 years they can be paroled. Its not that they "let" them back on street it just that overcrowding and other issues allow them early release. The Family Watchdog website and registering of sex offenders help. One thing we can do is write our local government officials and ask them to write tougher laws for sex offenders so they stay in jail longer. Outside of that we just stay frustrated sadly. We as parents need to do all we can to protect our children. Educating them on how to protect themselves is biggie. Does it need to stop yes of course and I agree. If your unhappy with the laws then write those who make the laws (I have) that's how it starts. In meantime use sites like family watchdog show your children the pictures of the offenders so they know their faces and teach them how to avoid predators

Social networking websites are no longer a place for babies. it is not proper how sensible you, as a be certain, are. it is not proper what form of application you have put in. The predators will discover a thank you to communicate with little ones on line. the suitable thank you to guard your babies from predators on social networking websites is to maintain them off the social networking websites.

We all have civil rights. Maybe if parents paid more attention to where their kids were and who they were with it wold happen less frequently. Most children who are raped and/or kidnapped are takedn by a family member or family friend.
Sexual Predators are NOT getting the mental health rehabilitation they NEED to stop their sociopathic behaviours. Jails do nothing more than house criminals who breed more and more contempt instead of learning how to better themselves in society.
