I personally think it's pointless but that's just me. All you do is make a little space of your own that's not really yours so people can see everything about you. Then they can leave comments. Wee!
But this is just my opinion.

I like it because I can keep in touch with friends from high school and send pictures back and forth with my friends.
I also think that these little girls giving out their personal information and then blaming myspace when something bad happens need to be banned from the internet because they're ruining it for the rest of us.

The UK version is rubbish......loads of error messages.
