My favorite character is Prof. Dolores Jane Umbridge. You know the woman who tried to overtake Hogwarts in the 5th book!

I can't BELIEVE she killed him off. I can't believe it. I am still in denial.
I was not at all shocked by what she did to Dumbledore after what she did to Sirius...this woman is capable of anything.
the final book should be GOOD...

My favorite character in the Harry Potter series is Hermione Granger. Not many people from the other houses like her, because they can't accept the fact that she is an intelligent and talented young witch. I also like her because I share the same interest in reading.

I love Mrs Weasley, she is so eccentric and maternal and so strong. She is not enamoured by the legend of the boy who lived, she is besotted with Harry Potter the person, saviour of so many of her family members and although not trying to replace Harry's mum is trying to give him the stability he needs, that he lost, to Voldemort. All because a woman made a prediction and he guessed Harry was the one.

I'm partial to Professor Lupin. He seems like such a good person with such a raw deal, being bitten by a werewolf and therefore stuck as one.
