Some people identify themselves with their thoughts, actions, history, ideals, family/friends/occupations etc. Others live in the moment without thoughts, words, ideas, comparisons, etc. clouding the experience of living. Most are somewhere in-between I reckon. How about yourself?

I think I identify myself with my heart. I care very little about how much money I make, where I live, what my future holds, etc. I live in the moment. I care mostly about what effects my emotions or the emotions of those around me. I do care very much about people but I guess I don't always make the choices that most would consider to be best. I let my emotions get in the way of considering the long term consequences. Sometimes I regret it but I don't think that it clouds the experience of living. In fact, it might just enhance the experience.

I'm not sure I get exactly what you're asking, but I'll try to answer. People often ask what the meaning of life is, why we're here, etc, and I always say, "Does it really matter?" The point is we are here, so just make the best of it. I don't bother pondering the mysteries of life; I feel like it's a waste of time. So, I guess I'd have to say that I just live in the moment. That's not to say that I don't think about the consequences of my actions, but I don't dwell on things I can't control.

You asked some big time questions. You need to create you own identify, which as you have indicated isn't based on immediate gratification, by learning from personal and historical events. And realizing what Frost was talking about and that somewhere in-between path.

I'm my own person I have no responsibility's other then myself I like to help people but I don't want to live with them. Every day is different to me because I did it this way yesterday dosen't mean I have to do it that way today.

OK being that your Heart is an organ to pump blood and not one to think I would have to say "your thoughts"

For the rest of the question I would say, "All of the above"

I am definitely prefer to be more in my head...

But my intuition keeps intruding and I end up in the middle anyway. It's just as well. I think my heart is smarter than my head.

Neither. I'm just me.

The thoughts and emotions are just layered on top of me - they run in the background, but underneath that, there's just the plain old essence of the "I".
