I am 14 and my parents still won't ley me shave my legs. But with back-up like this, maybe they will.

well i was about um... 10 or 11 but 14 is definity too old not to. Here's what u should do shave them anyways then ur parents will hafe to because the hair grows back thicker aleast that's what i did lol write me back at onlyoneangel01@yahoo.com and let me know how it worked. I'm also 14

I started shaving my legs in 4th grade so i was probably 10.
I am 15 now.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

I was 9 but then again I started my period when i was 9. If your 14 you should DEFFINATELY shave....espicially if you have started your period. Its not only something that bothers you but you will get picked on for it. Your parents need to know that they cant keep you their little girl forever. You need to be able to grow up.

i was 10...and i did perfectly fine, i just asked my mom and she realized that i needed to so she said ok just let me show you how to do it right and everything and i trust you. and my little cousin haley wanted to shave also but her parents wouldnt let her when she was 11 and she is 12 now and her parents finally realized that she needs to and she is old enough. : )
