I'm on birthcontrol and I missed a pill and shortly after I started feeling like I was pregnant but kept taking my pills. My friend told me I could cause the baby to have birth defects if I continue the pill so I stopped. Two or three days later I had a really heavey period more than normal ( 10 days before my period was suppose to start) I also had a lot more cramping than normal. So I thought I might of had a miscarriage or something. Then 3 days later after my period stopped I had a mix drink with alcohol (just one drink and I was not drunk or nothing) and I began to feel sick and I threw up. Could I be pregnant? Please Answer

When you stopped your pill you tricked your body into thinking it was at the end of your cycle. Because of the period that showed you were not pregnant, this would not have caused a miscarriage. When I got mess up on my pills it would really mess up my cycle. You have confused your body and your hormones, that could be a reason for being sick on a mixed drink. I ready do not think you are pregnant, but to make you rest easier go get a pregnancy test. After that start your pills, that is if it is neg. Your most fertile time is between day 14 and 17 counting the first day of your period as day one. Good luck.

It depends in what week after your period you missed one. The first 10 days are mostly trickiest, but that also depends on which kind your taking. Go double safe at those times and use a condom too. You always will get a bleeding when you stop taking your pill, even when your 'usual' period isn't due. By stopping your pill all of a sudden you're messing up your routine too, so bleeding can be different than regular.
To make sure see a doctor or do a home pregnancy test.

You certainly show certain signs associated with pregnancy. The best option is the check with your doctor ASAP. Take no chances.

It is possible that you are not pregnant, and that the happenings are just coincidences. However, stopping to take the pill is a wise choice, because the effects of the pill on an unborn child are still rather vague.

Well, it is possible. The pill is not 100% effective. My guess is you are not pregnant and your heavy period was caused by a disruption in your pills and your worries. Try a home pregnancy test. It's the same doctors use. Please let me know the outcome by email. Good Luck and take care!

once you assert missed pills do you propose you took them some hours later, or the next day? My rfile defined to me that taking them on the incredible comparable time regular is surely greater approximately assisting you're making advantageous to take them. some hours distinction regular won't count. yet once you pass over one altogether and then double up the next day and have that ensue some situations in a month, oh you ought to completely be pregnant! wait and spot now! try while your era is late :o)

It's possible...however, what more than likely happened is that your hormones were reacting to your having missed your pill. If you stopped taking the pill altogether mid-cycle, you REALLY confused your system, which caused the heavy bleeding,etc...Call your dr. though & make an appointment. Better to be safe than sorry! Good luck.

You need to go to the doctor.
Just stop drinking and taking the pill
until you know for sure what is wrong.

I hope this helps.

Just go to the doctor and have them give you a pregnancy test.

It is possible. You definately need to see a doctor if you care about yours and the child's health (and life). If you are pregnant, that is.
