Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter is still heading into its Science orbit around Mars. Will be there soon. New Horizon's on its way to the dwarf planet Pluto and a Kuiper Belt object or two to be named later is approaching Jupiter. Casinni is still operating in orbit around Saturn. Messenger is en route to Mercury. The next generation of Mars rovers are under construction (Mars Science Laboratory). Lunar Reconnaisance Orbiter will pretty much certainly happen.

Of course the announcement of the winner of the Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle is coming on Thursday. http://newsblaze.com/story/20060824122451tsop.nb/newsblaze/TOPSTORY/Top-Stories.html
(Personally, I think the US government will not adequately fund this ultimately program, dooming it in the long haul. See my answer here for details http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ahm5L13OpA_XEFiRYV0oCO3sy6IX?qid=20060724173855AAMYnd0)

No doubt there is more I am not thinking of. Also, NOAA , under the department of Commerce flies weather satellites and some solar study missions too.

Here is a comprehensive list of the US missions that have been active/are still active/will be active this decade. There are some ESA and Japanese ones there too.

Yeah, the old Voyagers are on there because we are still in communications with them as they enter the boundary between the heliopause and interstellar space. (Dunno why pioneer 9 is listed. . . maybe because it was the same class as pioneer 6?).

You can click on the 2010+ tab on that page to see some of what else is in the works, but until something has exited Preliminary Design Review (or preferably Critical Design Review; aka PDR and CDR) these missions are subject to cancellation.

You should follow the source below and register. You will get a daily or weekly update. i have used it for years they are very reputable (no spam). Also of interest is the star dust search of which you can participate in by dowloading some images and using the virtual microscope. They don't have the resources. A fleck of dust discovered by a volunteer will get named by the discoverer perhaps. The dust will be studied perhaps for decades (second link).
