Apparently it is in Los Angeles.
MTV reported that they were looking at recording a new album with Babyface as producer. There was no word of the venue or whether the r and b producer was interested.

They recently played at the Snakes on a Plane album release party and MTV News reported:
"FOB bassist Pete Wentz told the crowd, "We're here in L.A. recording our new album, so if you see us on the street, give us a high-five." "
No songs from the new album were played at the gig.
