I haven't been abole to find instructions for a seven tier diaper cake, but I have one for a three-tier:

The top layer uses about 6 diapers; the next, 15; the third uses 27. You would just continue making larger and larger layers till you have seven.

Ads I've seen say that the 7-layer cakes have over 270 diapers, to give you an idea of how many you might have to buy.

For people who don't know, it's not an edible cake -- duh! Each layer is made of folded disposable diapers, each rolled up into a cylinder. The cylinders are bunched together in a circle that's about 4-5 inches high. When these circles are stacked and decorated, they resemble the shape of a wedding cake.

Hmmm...I have never made one that big...i have made a 4 tiered diaper cake....My 4 tier took 110 diapers...I would think the base on a 7 tiered cake would have to be a least 24 inches or better at the widest...I would use fleece blankets between the layers to give it the much needed support....If i were to attempt such a cake i would have at least 240 diapers just to make sure i had enough.
