The candidate Lopez-Obrador did not win, in fact no winner will be declared until Sept. 6th, maybe not until later.
AMLO as he is known has been involved in election fraud at the state level. He is currently suspected of election fraud in this recent election. At the same time he is accusing one of his opponents of fraud, yet no fraud has shown up. AMLO is also illegally organising and funding protests that are causing harm to Mexico City and it's inhabitants. Read all the news and the sources from Mexico, better yet go there and discover the truth.
AMLO wants to emulate Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro, who originally also had support from the poorer, less educated classes.

Yes no different than Bush vs. Gore in the US. There's rigging of votes every country. The poor backed Obrador but the rich backed Calderon and they have more of a say.

Yes, its a bit like the fraud we had in Birmingham at the last election. Tough S***. Its everywhere dude. Congo, Hongkong, USA,GB, Ethiopia, Gambia, India, Pakistan, Germany..... I can go on. Mexico is not special.

Lots of scary stuff happening in Mexico! My thoughts are with them, hope it ends up somehow better... I better go, my pessimism is creeping up on me...
