I mean, how early can you see the baby?

well any time after you concive really
i had one of mine at 5w and another one at 23w and another one at 3w. (three differnt pregnacys!) they may do one at the begining to verify pregnacy and due date and then another one between 18 and 24 weeks to see if alls ok and see wat the babys going to be.
thats the way they did me with 2 of mine
i found out i was preg at 23 weeks with my second preg so it was the only one i had that time.
i haven't been to the doctors yet with this one but will be going sept 14th (about 8w)

With my last two pregnancies, I had ultrasounds at 8 weeks because of spotting, and saw the babies both times. Doctors usually don't do them before 18 weeks unless there is a problem.

You can get it any time if there may be a problem, but they usually dont get an ultrasound until about 16 to 20 weeks along. More if they are needed or earlier, as stated, if there are problems

You can see the baby in after the 6th week and also hear a heart beat. I had one done at 6 weeks. Best of luck !

I am with you here i am also skeptical as to when to get the first ultrasound. I would like to go after six weeks. That's when I had it don't with my two other children

i had mine at 7 1/2 weeks. already heard the heartbeat. amazing. at this stage the baby looks like a peanut. Probably, at week 12 it will look much more like a baby.

You can see the gestational sac at 4 weeks. At six weeks you can see the fetus and the heartbeat.

usually you can see the amminotic sac at about 4-5 weeks...but to know they sex it would be about 18-20 weeks

i had one done at 6 weeks with both of my children. they don't look like a baby at that age but you can see them.
