because of people that have no imagination while reading text books at school. so they had to make the war in visual form. i have never seen it because i knw i will cry.

Because of the anniversary. (Pearl Harbor Raid, 7 December 1941 ). Hollywood wanted to cash in and at the same time portray America fighting for world freedom with a love story thrown in ..etc.

"Pearl Harbor" is a offensive rape of history that cheapens the lives of World War 2 veterans by making a dumb popcorn movie out of their suffering while assuming the form of an epic.

Because Hollywood likes money and they thought it would make them money. I do believe that's also the motivation for sequels and remakes too.
