If your family can afford to send you to Roedean then they should certainly be able to afford the uniform.

See this. I'm sure some of the items can be bought outside the school.

Roedean’s day uniform for Years 7 to 10 (Upper Three to Upper Five) is a navy blue skirt and school sweatshirt/pullover worn with a red, blue, green or yellow regulation school polo shirt. Girls are also offered the option of wearing trousers as part of the every day school uniform, but only trousers supplied by the school shop are acceptable. Socks or tights should be navy blue and shoes black or navy blue. Sunday uniform comprises a blazer, white school blouse and house tie with navy skirt. Sports kit varies with games played but girls must have a school sweatshirt and tracksuit pants, games skirt and games shirts.

The Sixth Form are not required to wear school uniform during the normal working week but will need a single colour, formal suit (either skirt or trouser suit ) to wear on Sundays and formal occasions. Skirts should be approximately knee length. It is advisable to have a suit containing pockets. Black suits may be obtained from the school shop if required. Tights, and not socks, should be worn with skirts. Sensible shoes should be worn with suits.

A full uniform list is available from the Registry and all items can be purchased from the school shop.
