I found some beautiful white tile at a construction dump, but alas never color tile.

so get the white ones and paint them the exact colors you want them. or if you dont like that idea. try a home improvement store or an arts & crafts store

Try a flea market, swapmeet, or a garage sale. You could even try asking some neighbors who might have leftover tile stored somewhere. I don't know if you could ask a home repair store if they have broken tiles in the back that you can have. Good luck!

garage sajes. seriously! a friends wife does this for a living, selling at gift shops. gets all her ceramics at garage sales (dont overlook braking up colored pottery)

go to a tile outlet and see if they sell any blemished tiles. you may find that they may just give them to you...
