What's up with teen titans/Terra?

2006-08-27 10:21:02 · 3 answers · asked by Sandi 3 in Entertainment & Music Television

She was on teen titans...blah...blah blah...beast boy fell in love with her and then at the end...blah blah blah she was sorking for slade....then she decided to be a good guy. While trying to stop the erupting volcano, she turned into stone....then in a later episode she comes back and doesn't remember anything.
Is that it? Are they really ending teen titans? Who is red X? Why doesn't robin take off his mask? Who was slade? Is slade still dead?

What did you want to know about her...? I know of no plans to put her on tv-- your question was in the tv category.

Terra (Tara) was the younger sister of Prince Brion of Markovia (Geo-Force, of the Outsiders). She had even more Earth-related powers than he does. She was able to mentally control the earth itself, causing eruptions, earthquakes, levitating boulders (that's how she usually flew.) Quite powerful for a spunky (twelve? thirteen?) year old, who could throw an avalanche of stones or molten lava at you if she didn't like you.

Unfortunately, she turned out to be an enemy of the New Teen Titans. She was recruited by Slade Wilson (Deathstroke, the Terminator.) There were some rather cheesy panels with her wearing sleazy-looking makeup and lingerie in Wilson's hideaway that made it seem that Wilson had perhaps seduced her in the course of leading her astray.

Terra was part of Wilson's long-standing plan to destroy the Titans. (A matter of 'honor', since he had promised the criminal organization known as H.I.V.E. that he would do them in, and never failed to deliver on a contract. Even though H.I.V.E was defunct by this time.)

Terra wore sophisticated contact lenses that were also cameras, through which Wilson could spy on the Titans and discover their secrets. As a part of their plan, Terra played up to Gar (Changeling) Logan; he fell in love with her.

In the last battle, when Terra's treachery was finally revealed, Gar still did not want to believe that she had turned on them until she started taunting him over the immaturity of his romantic feelings and his gullibility. Terra was killed in battle, and the other Titans respected Gar's feelings. He was left to mourn over her body alone.

This was back in the late 80's early 90's. There was a strong bit of foreshadowing at the end of the story, when Terra's funeral was held and her burial was shown.

BURY a dead character with EARTH-BASED powers in the GROUND...? Can you smell a Return from the Dead...? I don't know what happened to her after that, but that is the basics of what happened with her.

Terra wore a tan outfit with darker brown vertical stripes that accentuated her (admittedly slender, at first) curves. Yellow tinted (?) goggles over her eyes. Mask attached to neck of costume (partial hood, leaving her short blonde hair free.) Brown gloves and boots.

They say Terra might just be pretending to forget. Beastboy ,like, can't let go of her and wants to .......with her!Slade returned to life after he got it back from Trigon, the demonic father of Raven from another dimension! In "THINGS CHANGE" , he sent some robot clone thingy of himself to tell beastboy that she wants to forget. He has some connection and there might not have anymore episodes afterwards.Red X is some guy smart enough to steal the suit from Robin and dumb enough to take it for a joy ride.Robin does not take off his mask to protect his identity, which is Dick Grayson. Slade's full name is Slade Wilson, whose wife shot out his right eye. He has a son who is Jericho but is mute.
