Don't try to switch on your cellphone as it might worsen the problem. Get a hair-dryer to dry it fo at least a few hours. Hopefully it will work.

Be ready to accept it might not ever work again but you have to let it dry. Take of the battery and let it all dry out...leave it for a day or two. put it somewhere it can dry inside also. After this just put it back together and try to turn it on. This happened to my friend and he did exactly that and it worked. No reasonable explantations. Just got lucky.

I dropped my cell phone into a fish tank and drying it out for a week didn't help and i had to return it.

this happend to me..
so what i did
i just grabbed a drier and dried my phone'
it sounds stupid but if u get all the water off.. it might work
then just it might not work for a few hours
but it might

few of my friends had a little luck on this one. He look a heat blower in office and made it dry and it started to work.
But the other time we had to replace it.

take the battery cover, battery, sim card, etc off and just let evrything dry off. it might work, worked for mine
