Walking is a great addition to any excersize plan. Just half an hour per day shows results. As far as calories are concerned... You didn't offer enough information. How many calories are you currently consuming. It takes eliminating 3000 calories to burn 1lb. 1200-1500 calories per day is a good amount to consume if you're dieting. Any less than 1200 and your body starts to burn muscle instead of fat. Hope this helps....good luck.

What is really great about 'aqua excercising' is that it's not hard on your joints. With running, it can be hard on the joints of your bones since you're applying so much weight.

Were you trying to achieve weightloss in the first place?-Some bodies just refuse and are really stubborn about losing weight.

I say, reducing calories is always advised, but I'm the type of person who believes in starvation without excercise.

If I were you, I'd experiment, increasing work, lowering food, do a personal study. Like others said, maybe your body is at it's average and doesn't see fit to lose anymore weight.

One of the best ways to loose weight and tone up the body is swimming and other water exercises. give it time . sometimes the body needs longer than others , watch how much you eat and what you eat also. maybe you could try one extra day and exercise making it 4 times a week .

It depends on your current weight. It could be that you don't NEED to lose weight. It also could be that you've put on muscle and lost fat, thus maintaining your weight, but changing your body composition.

And of course, the other option...that it's not enough of a workout for you.
