NO, but they'll sure as heck crawl on you and pinch the crap out of your skin. Happened to me...it's hurts! Also beware of leaving a shirt or pair of shorts outside on a table at night for too long. I left a pair of shorts on our picnic table and then made the mistake of putting them right on after going in the pool. I felt something and pulled them off and found 3 earwigs were hanging out in them. Freaked me out! They also will definitely crawl into half drank soda cans if left out at night, so watch out for that. I live in Long Island, NY. We have tons of them!
