I need to start getting ahold of college coaches to get an athletic scholarship. I am interested in a few differnt schools and need to contact the coaches. I'm not sure on what to say to them in an email. Please give me suggestions or write a sample email. Thankss!!!

There are a few ways. First, you could ask your high school coach/es if t(he)y have any contacts at local or out-of-state colleges so that you could get some information about what is available, i.e., scholarships, etc. You can also call a college of your choice and make an appointment to speak with a coach on the telephone. If it were me, I would use the phone, rather than the internet; it is more personal. Also, I recommend you check out these websites:

Your high school coach should help with all that. If he thought you were college material he would have already have made those contacts for you. It is very unlikely you will get a college scholarship without a very strong recommendation from a HS Coach.
