My bf and I are backing through Europe (leaving sept 14 !!!) but Im wondering if we have time to do greece? We will be there for two months and are starting out in amsterdam. I feel like we shouldnt skip Greece, but my bf thinks that it is too far out of the way and will take of too much time. basically he thinks that we should go back and do greece as it's own trip. Just wondering what other people think?

I was in Italy, Greece and England in April and absolutely loved it Greece the most. It is out of the way, but in two months it is doable. You can take a ferry from Italy to Greece or take a low cost flight. Depending on which city you fly out of, you can find some great deals. You never know when your gonna be back, so see what is most important to you.

My biggest recommendation is to check out some rick steves dvd's (He's the guy that backpacks through Europe on PBS). You can find them on netflix. He has a few that specifically talk about traveling from county to country in a 2 month span. His website and message boards were an invaluable resource that I will use every time I travel in Europe.

Greece has many places to visit. if you have plenty of time you should visit us. Sept is a month that there aren't many tourists visiting islands. the weather is very good until the beginning of November. if you like to spent some peace full time together it's the best season. if you are more like party animals try Aug in greece

It depends on where you're going. If you are doing mostly Western/Northern Europe, then I would say that it might be kinda out of your way, but if you are going to be down in the Balkans then you could probably work it into your trip.
