i think 5'11 or above for guys is good. as for girls, i hope to be atleast 5'7.

I think a guy has to be about 4-5" taller than the girl. Or at least 2"!

Recently there was a study shown on BBC. It said that the only advantages of being tall are psychological and cultural. Psychological because one feels prominent. Cultural because people think that tall people are stronger and more capable.
Personally, I am 6.1 and I think I have more disadvantatges than advantages, recently I've hurt my lower back, because lean back is always more prone to injuries.
Sceintifically, it is an era of compact things. See how small a pentium processor is, yet its performace is better than a 50s computer which filled a whole room.

this is only my opinion, im a girl thats 5'10" and i always wanted a guy whose taller than me. i think lik 6' or taller id prefer. but my boyfriend right now is 5'9" and my boyfriend before him was 5'10. hieght isnt everything though. only when theres a 5'5" guy walking with a 5'10" girl. im tall and it seems shorter guys are like kinda embarrased to be around tall girls. well thats only my opinion.

I like your question - it is one a friend and I debated about one time. She was 5'6 and her b/f was a few inches shorter than her.
I think the best answer is, whatever you are comfortable with!
I personally prefer a man who is taller than me .. I am 5'8" tall and I feel comfortable around a man who is 5'10" or taller.

Who cares? Is Eva Longoria not beautiful because she is short? I am short and I hate when people have to have such distinct impressions of what the standard beauty is or has to be.

I had a girl friend who was 4'11 and loved her with all my heart but any thing fromm 5' to 5'5 is good

it all depends on your height urself...im 6'0 tall and i would hate to date a guy who is 5'6"....but for a 5' girl..the 5'6" guy is fine...so for me i would like a guy to be inbetween 5'11"-6'2"
